KENJUTSU IN THE STYLE OF KASHIMA SHINRYU
Welcome to our Dojo.
In our dojo you train Kenjutsu 剣術 (sword fighting art) in the style of Kashima Shinryu 鹿島神流 – an old traditional Japanese martial art that focuses on special sword techniques (Kenjutsu). The training mainly consists of practising fixed sequences of movements, the katas.
The katas of the Kashima Shinryu school are divided into 7 different series.
Kenjutsu training especially sharpens presence, concentration, mindfulness, and intensively practices determination.
